Pardot Forms

Integrating your Pardot Form with Referral Rock is easy! It's as simple as placing a script in the Thank You Code section on your Pardot Form.

Step 1: Determine the Value Names of your Form Fields

  1. Determine what information from the form you'd like to pass over to Referral Rock. The only required information is email address, though we recommend including First Name and Last Name along with any other important information you'd like accessible in Referral Rock.
  2. Note the input value of each of the fields you want to pass. The input value would be the same tag that you would use when doing a mail merge in Pardot. You can find this by clicking on a Prospect Fields in your system and looking at the Field ID.
  3. Match the proper Referral Rock token to the proper input value. Example: firstname=%%firstname%%
  4. In Referral Rock, navigate to your Conversion Script or click here. Copy the script and edit it to include Pardot's input value within the quotes, adding {js} before the ending %%. Example: firstname: "%%firstname{js}%%". See below for an example of a completed script.

Step 2: Place Conversion Script on Pardot form Thank You Code

  1. In Pardot, navigate to your form and select Edit Form.
  2. Navigate to Step 4: Completion Actions
  3. Select the Thank You Code tab and replace the existing default script with your Referral Rock Conversion Script.
    1. Example of complete Conversion Script:
    This is a Test Script. Do not copy and paste this script.
    <script type="text/javascript">

    window.rrSpace = (

    rrSettingsConversion = {

    debug: "false",

    parameters: {

    firstname: "%%first_name{js}%%",

    lastname: "%%last_name{js}%%",

    email: "%%email{js}%%",

    companyname: "%%company{js}%%",

    phone: "%%phone{js}%%"

    (function (f, r, n, d, b, y) { b = f.createElement(r), y = f.getElementsByTagName(r)[0]; b.async = 1; b.src = n; = 'RR_DIVID'; y.parentNode.insertBefore(b, y); })(document, 'script', '//');

  4. Save your form.

Step 3: Test

Once the Conversion Script has been placed in the Thank You Code of your Pardot form and saved, you're ready to test!

  • Click through a Member's referral link to ensure you are cookied as a Referral
  • Fill out your Pardot form
