Conversion Redirect

In the cases in which you are unable to add additional scripts to any of your referral capture pages, you can use the Referral Rock Conversion Redirect option. This is most commonly the case when working with various form creation sites that use a redirect method upon form completion.

How Conversion Redirect Works and When to Use It

In the case of external sources that don’t allow you to add additional scripts, standard conversion tracking through the Referral Rock Integration Scripts is not possible. This is a common use case for many form and web-to-lead services. In these cases, a user often puts information into the page and the will then be redirected to another page.

The Conversion Redirect  option works by providing a page that will take information in the URL of your external source into the confirmation page then automatically forward the user to the desired landing page. This allows you to both add the Referral to your Referral Rock program and capture any desired information.

How to Set Up the Conversion Redirect with your External Source

  1. Start by navigating to your Integrations tab and then select ‘Conversion Redirect' from under Conversion Tracking.
  2. Copy the redirect page URL and input it within your form page to have your users be sent here upon completion.
  3. Make sure to include any parameters that you would like to have included. (see below for instructions on adding parameters)
  4. Finally, scroll down and input the URL of the final page that you want your users to land on.
